2009 OBFN Club Champions

After talking with the majority of the anglers prior to the event starting, it was certain that the team that worked together the best and had the fewest mistakes was going to be this years champs! That's exactly what Buck Creek Bassmasters did to claim this years title at Indian Lake! The team of Bob Townsend & Bob Flowers lead the charge for Buck Creek by weighing in 8 of the 12 fish from the teams combined catch for both days. Townsend and Flowers put the team in first place after the first day with a catch of 5 fish weighing in at 8.08, topped off with a 3.37 kicker. The remainder of the team: Steve Dow & Larry Trame, Doug Smith & Dave Swaggert combined for an additional 3.51 pounds to put the team in the lead by 3.5 pounds going to day two.
By the end of Day 2, Buck Creek had tallied over 17 pounds of fish and managed to take the crown away from the 2008 champions, Buckeye Nation.
